Grant Mercorella PhysiotherapistIn 1996, Grant graduated from Latrobe University (Melbourne, Australia). He then worked in private hospital rehabilitation for a year, travelled around Australia for a year working as a locum, and began his private practice career in Melbourne.

Moving back to Alice Springs in 1999, Grant started Red Centre Physiotherapy, which he owned and managed for 15 years. There, he gained extensive experience in sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and post-orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation.

Grant has over two decades of years of experience; he has helped those with workers’ compensation and motor vehicle accident injuries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal issues for all ages. With a special interest in sports and exercise physiotherapy, he uses the gym and hydro-exercise therapy to help achieve patients’ goals. Grant has also completed a level 1 strength and conditioning course through the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association. Additionally, he is certified in dry needling.

Outside of Work

Grant’s interests outside the practice include running, dirt bike riding, stand-up paddle boarding, surfing, and ice hockey. He has also been the team physio for The Perth Sharks U23’s Ice Hockey Team.
